Due to a puppy kind of situation I am wahay behind on updates. It is really difficult to work on anything when someone is constantly needing to pee, eat or chew your toes. So, I’ll get back to updating as soon as possible. For now, look at her belly. Awww.
I made a cover for Witch-Crafty, or actually two covers. The one in the bottom is the one you will be seeing when I sell Witch-Crafty in ZineFest 2020. ZineFest 2020 is virtual and as such you can buy the first 38 pages of Witch-Crafty in digital form from https://gumroad.com/digicomix starting on Sep 5th. the digital version will be in black and white. I am hoping to get the comic printed soon and then use colors in that. But we’ll see what happens!
I made a small doodle of Ether. I also recorded a making of video as I made it. I though that might interest some of you so I am posting it under the finished pic.
Ether is a cat with a cat. Ether is also a witch. Not a very good one, mind you, but you can get far with manuals and for dummies-books. Their adventures take place in a world where it’s raining elephants, elder gods are an every day thing and the unusual is usual. Sadly the same world also has the mundane like annoying workmates and conferense calls that go on for hours. But you can’t have everything, can you.
The story of Aether (Ether for friends) began as I started pondering if I can in fact make a comic. Having worked as a designer and illustrator for years I wasn’t sure if I could work in panels. Hence Witch-Crafty is far from finished. I already have several pages ready but am still not quite sure where this is going. Exciting!
I will probably be posting a once or twice a week for now. Whenever I have time to finish pages.
